Nominations for the 2025 Annual Chamber Awards

Business of the Year

Any Chamber business is open for nomination as Business of the Year. Using the criteria by which a nominee has demonstrated their value of leadership, community participation, or work to provide Crawford County a badge of superiority as a great place to work and live. As businessmen or women, they are usually always supportive of community projects with time, talent or funding and who may have provided all three elements producing successful ends to projects in education, employment, or the beautification of our county.

Submission Instructions: Please complete the form and return to the chamber by email (robertacrawfordcoc@gmail.com), postal mail, or in person no later than Friday, January 24. Forms are also available at the Chamber office.

Youth or Youth Group of the Year

For an individual youth nomination, the award is judged upon the following criteria: Qualities of leadership in youth’s school; service both to school and activities in the community; achievements in church, community, leadership roles and community service; and academic achievements.

To nominate a youth group, the award will be presented to a youth group who has demonstrated qualities of leadership in their community and area of service. The award is also based on achievement, leadership and community service.

Citizen of the Year

This award is to be given to an individual or group of individuals whose behind-the-scenes community service merits recognition for: a selfless one time act benefiting the community or an individual and/or a long time service which has enriched the quality of life in Crawford County. Individuals of the year are people who make an impact by service to the community spiritually, socially or economic value the person has demonstrated during the entire year. The award is based on the self-sacrificing behavior or acts of kindness inside or outside groups and or special projects undertaken.

Roberta/Crawford Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award

The Roberta/Crawford Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual or couple whose exceptional lifetime contributions of community leadership and philanthropic endeavors have impacted the quality of life of the Crawford County citizens. These individual(s) typically have touched not only the members of the Chamber but have worked tirelessly to make our community a better place to live, work and play. It takes hours of tireless dedication and devotion to leave the indelible footprints of a civic legacy. Their accomplishments will be measured forever by the recipient(s)’ vision, leadership and philanthropic commitment on behalf of the citizens of Crawford County.
